Has a Masters in Project Management as well as academic professional qualifications including a CPA 2 (K). In the past have attended several trainings and courses on Crop Management, Good Agricultural Practices, Food Safety, HACCAP, Global Gap, Traceability, Food Hygiene as well as Horticulture marketing. During my working career, I have acquired a wide profile of skills including crop production and management skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills, professionalism and quality packing skills. Besides, I am well versed with International requirements on Food Safety and Sustainability. My career goal is to gain vast expertise in enterprise Quality Risk Management and Business Development. This is achieved while applying proper risk management and governance skills guided by the legal framework governing Food safety and operations of the Agribusiness entity.
Peter has a wealth of experience in horticulture production spanning over 16 years both in Kenya and Rwanda. He has served as a technical advisor to NAEB from 2013 to 2015, providing training to over 1,380 farmers on horticulture, from production to exports, given his extensive experience from Kenya. Peter is responsible for providing oversight regarding company activities and ensuring that the company remains in a decent financial position. Peter also directs the business development of Golden Cat into new markets and new clientele.
